Bible 5

Course Overview

In Bible 5 students will work through the Old Testament in chronological order. Students will be introduced to many people who faced challenges. These people, like us, face the choice of if they will follow God or their own path. Each choice has a consequence and we will explore how the choices of the Old Testament people affected their lives.  Did they follow God’s leading and be blessed, or did they choose to go their own way and find the path more difficult?  Students will reflect on their own lives and the choices they have had to make.

Time Commitment:

This course consists of 29 lessons. Each lesson is designed to take one week to complete, with each week containing 5 days of work. Students will complete a lesson assignment, the workbook lesson, memorize a Bible verse, and add to their timeline on a weekly basis.  There are quizzes at the end of every third lesson.

Students are required to use Moodle to download and submit assignments. They also are required to print off their timeline and be able to scan or upload the timeline at the end of the year.  Parents are required to send an email on a weekly basis to inform the teacher of the students’ memory verse progress.
